I bought the bike locally from an older gentleman who knew very little about it. He inherited it from a family member who had the bike on display in his house. The bike is truly a low hour survivor that looks to be 99% original - right down to the Barum tires. The bike is not running due to the piston rings being removed for storage. I did pull the exhaust to look into the exhaust port to verify the condition of the piston and cylinder wall. The piston and cylinder walls look great. I don't think it would take much to get the bike up and running - cleaning the carb. putting the rings back on the piston. and changing the gear case fluid would probably do it. The brakes work well and the suspension will need some attention. There is a bend on the edge of the front rim and the one side panel has a small crack by the shock mount - that is the only noticeable damage. It is in amazing shape just like the pics show. The extra parts and tools in the pictures go with the bike. I personally know very little about the value of the bike. I am unsure about the year. but was told it is a 1985 model. I feel it is a very solid bike and would take only a little time and effort to make into a very nice piece. The bike is sold AS-IS.
