1999 Yamaha Road Star Warbird

This one is dedicated to the American pilots who put their lives on the line to aid the Chinese in defeating the Japanese before we entered World War II. The scheme for this bike is based on the P40 War Hawk used in this endeaver.

Description: mileage 39026 miles. Painted black silk with the Shark Mouth toothy grin image emblazed on the gas tank. Front and rear fender are hand pin-striped. Paint has a few small chips nothing that will distract from the bike. It contains a patch on the rear fender called the Blood Chits. (*see discription below.)

It has a hand made exhaust system that is authentic wrapped as on the War Hawk a hand made induction system with K & N lifetime filter a custom billet aluminum tail light and license plate bracket and hand made copper pushrod covers. It has a new windshield seats sissy bar and passenger pads rear foot boards and mounts like new white walled tires. It also has a machine gun sight mounted on the handbars. This bike has always been garage kept and excellently maintained. She runs good.

*This was a patch that identified the pilot. Translated it says “I am an American and do not speak your language. I will not harm you! I bear no malice toward your people. My friend please provide me food shelter water and necessary medical attention. Also please provide safe passage to the nearest friendly forces of any country supporting the Americans and their allies. You will be rewarded for assisting me when you present this number to American authorities.”
