This 1953 GMC has had a full frame off restoration and is immaculate. It has the hydra-matic transmission that makes this a perfect truck for someone that doesn't want to shift. This was the first year that an automatic was put in a truck. It is a rare combination of long bed and automatic. It was reported that only 200 were made for 1953. It has had the electrical system updated to 12 volt and improved brakes have been added. My friends have this for sale and want to start another project. This was is the perfect show truck.
