The first thing to say about this listing is that if you're looking for a mint machine. you'll want to look elsewhere. This bike needs work - most of it is essentially "maintenance". but there are a number of cosmetic issues. We'll do the good stuff first. The good stuffLitre twin 118bhp goodnessDetuned RSV engineSprag clutch doneRecent chain and sprocketsDouble-bubble tinted screenStarts first time - recent batteryMOT until May 2015. It's a Falco and it's stock. It's a revvy litre twin with loads and loads of grunt. The engine is detuned from the RSV and. in all honesty. 118bhp is more than you *need*. The bike has had the "big" issue done. in that the sprag clutch was replaced in 2013 (I think). It also had a new chain and sprockets in June 2014. The bad stuffThere's a lot that needs doing. Here's a list of the stuff I know about:Front and rear pads are really. really thin and both need replacement. Right hand fork dust seal has detached and is half way down the fork -- left doesn't look much better -- wager both fork seals need to be done. Front right indicator is hanging -- not dropped on this side!Gear lever is bent (I dropped it on this side in 2012 avoiding a pedestrian on an icy road). I have a spare. straight lever which will be included. Left hand side front fairings are scraped past the paint. including the nose cone and exhaust can. The can isn't bad though. Clutch lever end is snapped off. There is a new clutch lever in the "boot". It's not been replaced because the original lever has a detachable rod that I couldn't detach. Tyres will need changing in the not too distant -- front is worse than the rearSide stand is "interesting". The stand extends. but it leans at a really steep angle that has progressively worsened. Don't know why - it's at a normal angle resting on a brick outside my door. so either something is loose/slipping/broken or the sidestand needs replacement. Some fairing bolts are missingService light onThat list is all that I *know* needs doing. The bike was left standing for about a year from 2013 to 2014. and was then in use daily until late December when I noticed the brake pads. Test ridesNo. I wouldn't ride it on those pads. and neither should you. I can demonstrate up and down the road. but I wouldn't want to take it elsewhere. however you're welcome to see it start and not overheat. QueriesI'll respond to queries via eBay.
