2005 Aprilia Caponord ETV 1000. **LOW MILEAGE & FANTASTIC EXAMPLE NO RESERVE****

Aprilia Caponord ETV 1000Readvertised due to time waster. Hi and here is my listing for my Aprilia Caponord. I bought this bike for a trip I have just got back from as I didn't want to take a sports bike. Looking for a BMW GS originally but they are so expensive and over rated in my opinion. This is the 2nd Capo I have owned. they are absolutely fantastic bikes. you don't see many on the road surprisingly. This one is a 2005 model. its only covered a genuine 12000 miles from new! It's been well looked after and Its only had 2 previous owners. Its in a fantastic and rare colour combination of satin black and grey and is in very good condition indeed. There is one mark to the right hand side of the tank but didn't bother me. apart from that no damage to fairings. no dents scratches or cracks etc etc.  The bike has a complete pack of documents with it to support the low mileage. this included MOT docs and old ones. service history book. a clear HPI report and  both sets of keys and the original owners handbook. CD for software if you want to do your own updates to the ECU and various receipts for work done. There are a few extras on this bike which just add to it. these include:GIVI Top box and rackGivi front touring screenTank bag -  bike specific to this modelCrash barsK&N FilterTrickle charger wired in under seat. Scott OilerThe bike is HPI clear and have a report with it to show not insurance claim. damaged. stolen etcThis truly is a fantastic bike. awesome for touring on and is so comfortable. having spent 10 hrs a day plus touring in the saddle on the Caponord I would easily get back on and do it again. its that good!Power delivery is amazing. bags of torque. it pulls like a train and handles really well too. I feel more at home on this than in the many sports bikes I have ridden and I find it more fun too. I wouldn't hesitate to ride around Europe on this tomorrow. ts built for it and will perform as expected. and more!While I was away on it. on the way back the speedo suddenly stopped reading. it dropped to zero and doesn't move. I was using my satnav at the time so i used the speedo reading on that instead so it wasn't an immediate issue. The trip and mileage shows correct and everything else on the dash works and lights up as it should. There is prob about a 400 mile difference on the speedo to when it stopped to when I got home. I wont be using it again now I'm selling it so mileage will not increase. I assume this is a simple fix. loose cable maybe?? Cant imagine its much as everything else on the instrument panel works and lights up. All gauges. warning lights etc all function as they should. I've taken a look but not sure what Im looking for to be honest. #i did go out on it last week and it started to work again for about a mile then dropped back to zero again. Could be a very quick cheap fix if you know what your doing . again i used my satnav and it got me by on the return trip.  In terms of the bikes performance it is faultless and pulls in every gear and the grunty V Twin keeps going!  Fantastic on fuel and a massive tank returns a great touring range. Genuine reason for sale though I hoped to keep it. I'm gutted but will defo be buying another one in the future. In summary a 100% genuine & fantastic bike. up there with one of the top 5 bikes I've owned/ridden. If you are looking for a tourer/ adventure bike to cover the distance comfortably and with ease that will put a smile on your face. this is the one and with spring knocking on the door its time to get planning your next trip on this bike. Look at the prices of the Caponord and the mileage then come and look at this. I understand its not as easy to pick up a bike as it is a car so I can keep bike safely in bike garage for up to 2 weeks once paid for ( or deposit given) but must be collected after that.
