2004 Aprilia RSV Tuono 1000 R - Nero Black - 13500 miles

For sale is one of the original factory streetfighters in a desirable Nero black paint scheme. The Rotax engine on these bikes is ultra reliable and you can see these go for 100. 00 miles. You get all the V-Twin torque and sound with a top end rush of a sport bike. The Tuono is an Aprilia Mille sport bike with handlebars instead of clip-ons providing a comfortable riding position. I have ridden 300 mile days with no problems. The speed triple may be the original hooligan but. this bike will go in circles around it in a track. It is an affordable and reliable Italian machine!Startup video: Youtube Startup VideoThe Good:- New Michelin Pilot 4 tires with about 400 miles on them ($450). Sport touring tire great for the wet! Good for atleast another 8000 miles!- New upgraded battery (Genuine Yuasa GYZ16H) about 3 months ago ($100). This battery is much better at cranking the big V-Twin than the stock battery. - Flashing brake lights installed by previous owner. - Fresh oil change on 3/4 at 13280 miles. - K&N air filter. - 15T front sprocket for better acceleration from down low and better handling in the city. - Manual and 2 keys. - Newer style Tuono mirrors for better visibility and style. - Stainless steel oil filter. - Quick release battery tender hookup. - Tabs good till June. 2015. The Bad (I have included everything here so you have no surprises!):- Bike was tipped over while parked in Seattle causing superficial scratches (please see pictures). - Spring on turn indicator switch does not work. But. the switch works. - Scratch on swingarm from aftermarket muffler (pictured). I put the original one back on. - Service due at 14. 00 miles. Last service done by Seattle Used Bikes when purchased last year (Mar 2014) at 8200 miles (have receipt). Brakes checked by Ducati Bellevue during tire change 400 miles ago. Chain also checked and adjusted.
