2007 APRILIA RSV 1000 BLACK RSV1000R RSVR

For sale is my Aprilia RSVR. it is without doubt the best bike I have ever owned and is only for sale as I have now got an RSV4. I was going to keep the RSVR as a track bike but it is far too nice to be used on the track - so here is a chance for someone else to own and ride this fantastic machine. The bike is in really good condition. it does have a few minor marks. the worst of which is a scuff on the right hand belly pan which you can't even really see unless you look for it due to its location. Overall the bike looks great and is a real head turner. It benefits from having the Ohlins front forks as it is a facelift model. they make the bike handle great - I have never had so much confidence in a bike before. The tyres are good and have a reasonable amount of tread on them.  There is a lot of service history with the bike. it has had no expense spared by myself. or previous owners. It was serviced last July with an oil and filter change. new spark plugs. brake and clutch fluid. and it has a K & N air filter fitted which was cleaned and re-oiled. I haven't done that many miles since then so the bike shouldn't need servicing again until next year. The brake pads and discs are all good with loads of life left in them. The chain and sprockets are in good condition. The battery is good and is always kept on a trickle charger. I will be putting a new MOT on the bike before the winning bidder collects it. I have no doubt that it will fly straight through but if it needs anything then I will get it sorted for the new owner. There are a couple of extras on the bike. shorty after market brake levers (I do have the originals still if you prefer) and a tail tidy which improves the back end of the bike massively. I have the standard item too if you want it. The bike currently has a small number plate on it. but I also have a full sized one which will go with the bike. The bike also has the clear indicator lenses which look far nicer than the orange ones in my opinion. Lastly there is a rear seat cowl (as seen in the photo's). I also have the pillion seat which will go with the bike to its new home. There is lots of paperwork with the bike. including the V5 and the service history documents. It has two spare key and fobs for the Datatool S4 Red alarm which works perfectly. The bike had a new generator and rectifier last year. If you know your RSVR's then you will know that these can be a weak point on the bike; so the new owner need not worry as it has already been done. The rectifier was an uprated one and has been professionally wired direct to the battery to improve the charging system. The bike has covered just over 30. 00 miles but don't let that put you off. it looks like a bike that has covered half these miles. The previous owner did a lot of mile commuting on the motorway on it. The bike rides faultlessly and pulls like a train with more power than you could ever wish for on the road. Any inspection is welcome. and if you have any questions then feel free to ask.  I do have a pair of Arrow exhausts and a pair of exhaust hangers that get rid of the pillion pegs. these will be available at extra cost by negotiation to the winning bidder if they want them. otherwise I will list them separately on eBay.  I would like to be paid with cash on collection please.
