Description

A true high performance adventure touring bike with the ability to hang with the sport bikes in the twisties but then turn off the pavement and enjoy the dirt and gravel roads less traveled. I am the second owner and have put all but 2,500 of the 52,681, ell maintained miles on it. El Capo has taken me through 39 states and a few Canadian provinces without ever leaving me stranded. It has Aprilia factory removable hard side luggage large enough to swallow a full face helmet. A 1000cc Rotax v-twin engine is rock solid making 98 horsepower with 71.5 ft/lbs of torque into a 6-speed transmission and a chain drive. The fuel tank holds nearly eight gallons of gasoline; at 38-40mpg it has much more range than my rear end can tolerate. It comes with a Laminar Lip windshield extension.

Downside: it is not a new bike or a museum piece. The left side hard case has a scuff mark along with the left rear panel. The seat has four or five small scratches from a cat jumping onto it, laws exposed. There are a few other nicks and scratches in the paint but nothing that will hinder the performance or keep heads from turning. This will make you an excellent bike for many miles to come at a fraction of the $15,600.00 cost of a new one.
