2003 Aprilia Futura rat bike, salvage title, good tires, runs well, plenty fast

This bike has a salvage title which also states mileage not accurate. The odometer was replaced by me with a used cluster which read 11,458 at install, t now reads 20,448, hus I have ridden the bike 9K miles. Based upon the registration fees I paid at purchase, do know the vehicle sat unregistered (and was not "non-opp'd") for several years before I purchased it in Jan 2009. What I am saying is, believe the bike was crashed early in its life and likely had fairly low mileage (but I obviously can't be certain of this). There are too many scrapes and scratches to mention, ut I will attempt to provide some "highlights", o to speak. I fabricated the front subframe to mount the odometer cluster. I fabricated the rear subframe upon which the seat sits. The rear wheel was straightened (still not quite perfect, ut you can't feel it). No ignition key is required, nstead there's an auto race style switch(thus I always lock the bike wheel with a lock (which I will include). I fabricated a removable rack (included also if you want it)in order to haul luggage, hich mounts on the back on the rear subframe. Due to the muffler being removed (there is a resonator though, o it is not crazy loud), he bike idles a bit high. There were several issues with this bike model which I have fixed, ncluding the replacement of a plastic fuel coupler (with the steel replacement) and several electrical leads which improve the reliability of the charging system. I have taken this bike on several long trips from Los Angeles, nce 4,500 miles to Estes Park, O, nd I would do so again today without hesitation. The tires are Dunlop Sportmax Q3, ithproduction dates of 1714 (17th week of2014). Ididn't keep a good record, ut I believe they have less than 1,000 miles on them (and one track day). Though this bike doesn't look like much, t is quite capable of embarrassing lesser riders on very capable bikes. Ihave chosen to sell this bike only because of garage space constraints. I should mention, nlike current Aprilia models, he fuel mileage on the Futura is awesome. The center stand shown in the photo is no longer installed or available. I will includethe harbor freight trickle charger and connections whichserves well to keep the bike charged if it sits idle for long periods of time. The headlight is not stock but works both high and low beam.On the road, he bike will routinely cover more than 200 miles on a tank.
