2004 Aprilia Futura RST 1000

For sale 2004 Aprilia Futura in great condition. Has 43. 00 miles. I drive it 77 miles per day to work. These v twin Bombardier engines are bullet proof and go well into 100. 00 miles club. The bike has a few nicks on it on the mirror edges and some on the fairings but not worth showing pictures of them they are from debris from the road while driving and not very bad at all. This bike does not look like its ever been laid down.   I am the third owner. I have a ton of records of maintenance on the bike since new. It has been a adult driven bike. It has heated grips added to the bike they work great. Has a slightly tinted windscreen does a great job of redirectling the airflow to prevent buffering. The last owner drove it from Wisconsin to Fontana California. thats where most of the miles came from. I just replaced the Chain and sprockets with a RK chain and Superlite front Sprocket. I went from a 16 tooth front sprocket to a 15 tooth  which made a ton of difference It really woke the bike up. It keeps the rpm's in the dweet spot now. You can now take corners in 2nd gear not first. Maybe lost 1mpg. I get 45mpg  min on every trip I take.  The rear is a steel sprocket about 400 miles on the chain and sprockets. Has new front and rear tires. less then 700 miles on them and the chain. comes with removeable lockable Hepco&Becker top box which is colored matched. Oil and filter was changed in the beginning of the season. May need new battery next year. It worked ok this year but is getting a little weak. It comes with both side luggage panniers. From  what I know all of the fluids have been changed  and adjustments have been made and up to date. The bike has has most of the factory Mods done to it from all of the reading I have done on the bike. The Aprilia Forum has a wealth of information on it. My bike is listed locally and maybe removed if sold from that listing. Also the picture from the rear has the old tires on it. The small black helo  luggage bag does not come with the bike.
