Aprilia Caponord ETV1000, 2002, Great Shape!

You are bidding on my 2002 Aprilia Caponord (ETV1000). I have only put about 1000 miles on it since I bought it. I want to sell it to someone that will use it. During the time I have had it I have fixed many of the inherent problems of this model. The plastic quick-disconnect fittings from the gas tank were know to break and allow fuel to be pumped over the engine. These three items were replaced by stainless steel fittings. The two problematic electric plugs that are always found corroded were either replaced or bypassed. The regulator/rectifier was replaced as they routinely go bad. Vehicle comes with aluminum panniers and a plastic trunk. Seat pad not included. Other work includes the replacement of:
-front/rear brake pads-tires-vacuum hoses-spark plugs-rr turn signal-aftermarket regulator/rectifier-starter solenoid-fuel hose-fuel filter-air filter-oil/filter-chain-front/rear sprockets-larger mirrors
Note from photos that this bike has some dings and a couple of small breaks on the right side of fairing that existed before I bought it. All in all, t is in superb condition mechanically and better than average condition cosmetically. I reserve the right to close this auction as it is for sale locally.
