Aprilia climber classic retro trials bike project vintage 80's twinshock rotax

Here up for auction is my Aprilia 280 climber. I bought this as a project about 6 months ago with the crazy idea that I would have enough time to ride it. Sadly it has now dawned on me that I definitely do not have the time. so. The bike runs and rides but needs a few things sorting out and is sold as such. mainly being the forks need resealing and there is an oil leak from the gearbox. I have done a couple of things. nbsp;sorted out the wiring out so it sparks. fitted a brake lever. bled the brakes and put a bash plate on which is off a later 280 so has an alloy plate bolted to the front of it.  It has good compression and I cant guarantee this next bit but the guy I bought it off said he had put a piston and liner in it. These bikes have rotax engines in which are supposed to be strong and it also has nearly new (road legal) tyres. The kickstart also has been repaired and does work but looks a bit gash. on the plus side like I say. it does run and ride. there are 2 rad cowls and a spare back brake caliper. cylinder and hose included in the sale and it seems complete which is good as you cant pop down tescos for bits for these. It would break for bits well but seems a shame. viewing is welcome and recommended.
