Yes. this is an automatic motorcycle and no. you will not be bored by it.

Introducing the 2009 Mana 850 by Aprilia. The Mana is one of the first commercially available motorcycles with an automatic transmission that Aprilia has dubbed Aprilia's "Sport Gear System. " Activating either under complete autonomy or being fed input by the rider through it's handle bar controls or standard foot lever. the Mana's automatic doesn't distract from the ride. nor remove any of the authenticity of riding a motorcycle.

The handling is excellent and combined with the ride of a tourer. this bike really was built with all the stops pulled out. but sold for a surprisingly low amount of money as compared to other bikes.

The Mana. being a chimera of motorcycles. is what the Mini Cooper was to England during it's inception; It was exactly what you needed it to be. but within a set of parameters:Meaning that the Mana can be a beginners bike. offering the ability to focus on riding and weight shifting as compared to clutch and throttle fluctuation. It can also be a fun peppy powerful cruiser that can eat up some twisty back roads. It can be for an experienced rider who finds that the manual isn't what they're looking for. but has always enjoyed the open motorcycle feel. so they've just dealt with it. The Mana can be a beginners bike you most certainly will not get bored with due to the loads of power. can be an excellent bike for traffic as no clutch means no downshifting so when that hole opens up. hammer down and go. and it can be yours!

The CVT transmission offers seamless "shifts" providing a very stable and smooth ride. The forks are inverted to provide a better road feel. but without sacrificing comfort. The over all stability of the bike is excellent as I have experienced. and would be obliged to say that this bike is defined by the statement of. "A comfortable. powerful. and unique bike. designed around the idea of ever expanding technology that allows everyone to become a rider. "
