Up for sale is this stunning Aprilia RS4 125cc.    Just look at the pictures.    First registered in September 2011

Having recently passed my test I can now obtain a larger engine size bike and so now it?ˆ™s for sale and just waiting for you to buy and ride it.

This bike both looks and sounds the business. The RS4 was designed to echo its bigger brother. the RSV4.                                    Featuring the Al Italia replica livery the bike celebrates Aprilia?ˆ™s World Superbike Championship wins.                                                  Even today this bike continues to dominate WSB

It has inverted forks and a radial front brake and with its polished aluminium frame and swingarm. In addition it has a Quickshifter similar to the one used on the RSV4 so it just has to be the best Learner Legal 125cc bike on the market.

The tyres fitted on the wheels are new this year so plenty of grip left - Bridgestone Battlax BT090?ˆ™s with 110/70 front and 150/60 rear. The Replica model have the larger tyre options (now the standard fit for RS4's) than standard launch tyre sizes.

The factory fitted (and heavier) exhaust has been replaced by a superbly sounding custom fitting Arrow exhaust that gives the sound to match its World Superbike looks.

Hand made in Italy. this exhaust system has the same high build quality and finish you would expect from one of the leading exhaust manufactures. The Arrow RS4 is made of stainless steel pipework exiting the bodywork to give it that MotoGP styling and also features an easily removable baffle which gives two options for the exhaust which are deeper and throaty compared to the standard system.

The original stock exhaust will be supplied with the bike when sold should you wish to revert it. It's a half hour relatively quick exchange either by your local mechanic or yourself to swop it over if you prefer the stock finish and sell on for a few hundred pounds the aftermarket custom designed slip on exhaust.   And the removable baffle for the Arrow exhaust will also be supplied.

The Honda CBR 125R. the Yamaha YZF-125 and even the new KTM RC125 cannot compete with the Aprilia?ˆ™s styling. In a recent article in the Motorcycle news comparing 125cc bikes on the market. it stated that the Aprilia is revvy. gorgeous. well made. refined and stunning. It added that the RS4 pulls off the amazing trick of making a 125cc feel like a full size bike. both in looks and attitude. It really does.

This Superbike replica has a seat cowl as can be seen in the pictures. There is however an original rear pillion seat and this will be supplied when the bike is sold if you want to ride carrying a passenger. I took off the rear pegs for a better sleeker look but these will also be supplied with the bike. I have included pictures that show with and without the pegs.  They are just a quick two screws fit.

The Aprilia RS4 offers safety and riding characteristics of a pure racer. placed at the service of daily mobility with great mpg and an 80mph top speed. Whenever I ride it and am stopped at traffic lights etc it always gets admiring glances - even more when they hear the sound it lets out.

The bike recently had its first MOT and this expires at the end of June 2015

The bike has been fully serviced and is stamped in the warranty book.                                                                                                  Serviced at 540 miles. then at 2176 miles and finally at 4005 miles it?ˆ™s next service is not due until 7500-8000 miles.

The bike is also taxed until the end of June 2015

The current mileage has just passed 5000 although I am using it most days so it may increase a touch.                                                      It?ˆ™s so fun to ride it?ˆ™s hard to keep it in the garage !!

The bike comes with both the service and maintenance books and both sets of keys.

These bikes are very reliable and the new 4-valve motor is punchy and right on the top of the available power for a Learner Legal machine. even more with the Arrow exhaust fitted.

There is a small mark on the right hand fairing (which I have tried to show) in the pictures. Apart from that the bike is in excellent condition.

So what?ˆ™s the difference between the standard RS4 and the replica version.  After the initial launch of the bike Aprilia offered an even more precious and refined version. the RS4 125 Replica.  The objective pursued by Aprilia in packaging the RS4 125 Replica was to transform the best into the most. thereby satisfying the numerous requests for a version even closer to the RSV4 SBK.  

On the base of the already stylish and competitive RS4. Aprilia Research and Development personnel worked on a dual profile to make the RS4 125 similar in graphics to the bike that is so successful in the world SBK championship. and at the same time honing the already excellent riding characteristics with the wider profile tyres. seat cowl and quickshifter etc.

The design of the fairings and the tank. the unique looks of the front end with the headlights suspended over the gaping air vents and the spectacular tapered tail fairing are identical to their counterparts on the V4 1000 cc supersport model.

The bike may well be listed on another site so can be withdrawn at any time. Sold as seen and no refunds.
