Aprilia RS125 full power 2001 black

First off - apologies to the 119 watchers when I pulled it. I was unaware the bike needed to have indicators for it to be legal and pass an MOT. so I pulled the auction until I could fit the indicators as required. This has now been done and the MOT test was done yesterday. Now the bike is fully legal I can offer it for sale again.

Aprilia RS125 2001/51 plate for sale.

Has been nut-and-bolt rebuilt from the ground up. with no expense spared.

Engine fully rebuilt with all new bearings through. crank rebuilt by PJ Engineering in Wolverhampton. new Mitaka cylinder. Speedo shows just over 23300kms. and has done only 175 kilometres since rebuild. Exhaust is standard Aprilia with all the internals removed. End can is Arrow. which has been stripped and repacked as required. Power valve and solenoid fitted. all new parts as you'd expect.

Chassis was stripped to bare frame. cleaned and polished. Swing arm has new bearings. and a new rear shock fitted too. Front end is the later 2006 onwards forks with radial caliper. Forks with new seals and oil (full strip and clean). as has the caliper had the same. EBC HH pads fitted. and a carbon coloured HEL line connects the front caliper to an overhauled master cylinder. New Renthal chain and sprockets fitted. Tyres are new on the back. and very good on the front Dunlop GPR70SPs. Most of the steel framework has been powdercoated gloss black. as were the wheels. which have new bearings and seals.

Bodywork is best described as average though. Still extremely useable. A second set is available to go with the bike. Mirrors have been fitted now too.

Passed its MOT 04/10/2014 with no advisories. V5 is present and in my name.

Goes like stink. handles even better. Conservative estimate is 25-26 horsepower. Room for more as it runs a standard 28mm carb and airbox.

Bad points? Well. the front mudguard is pink.
