Aprilia Tuono 2005 Naked 1000 V-Twin 18,700 miles No Reserve! in DERBY

 APRILIA TUONO 2005I've got a new job abroad and so sadly am having to sell my Tuono. I'll be off at the end of the month so I'm selling it as an auction with no reserve.  Get yourself a bargain!Purchased the bike in June. and got it fully serviced by Racing Lines in Derby who I trust and really know their stuff - they gave it a clean bill of health. No doubt about it this is a powerful bike. it's been described as not for the faint-hearted and unlike most naked bikes is not at all tuned-down from the RSV-mille super sports bike - even the gearing is as tall. mad. This has been my second 'big' bike and if you choose to ride it with a bit of care and not be a hoodlum it can be very easy to ride.  Engine is made by Rotax. the Austrian guys who also make engines for BMW and KTM so the reliability is good. The Good:Mechanically perfect. starts on the button every timeBrand new K&N washable/lifetime racing air filterNew MotoBatt battery (http://www. motobatt. com/)Yoshimura exhaust + ECU chip. sounds like angry thunder.  Original Can and Chip are included and you can swap them both with simple tools in 15 minutes (or I can do it for you)Overall condition is good for its age. some small stone chips & marks. I think it is very presentable. check the photos and come take a look. Really really fun to ride. Seriously just grin inducing. The Less Good:Needs new tyres - I was going to get some in the spring but the new job came up. Bit of gravel rash on left hand side air intake scoop. previous owner had probably dropped it - see picture. doesn't bother me much at all. Partial service history. Small split/cut on pillion seat - neatly sewn up (see pic). Also have a single seat conversion unit to replace pillion seat available. It's possible to get a bit carried away.
