2004 - Low Miles w/Custom Paint in Excellent Condition

It's not just the rake that makes a chopper a chopper. It's the attitude found in every component from one end of the bike to the other. Helping set this 10th Anniversary Big Dog Chopper apart is a tipped front fork with an integrated brace that gives this stretched out bike an even more radical design and an aggressive. hardcore stance yet it is still easy to turn and steer. On top of the 41mm telescopic front forks. resides the exclusive Big Dog Motorcycles' wide 1 1/4" billet handlebars which makes an ideal place for the LED tachometer. With lights indicating RPM in increments of 500. the tachometer also has a low idle indicator. The frame is crafted from 1. 5" diameter tubing and includes a 7" downtube. 3" backbone. and 35 degree rake which results in a very natural riding position. The excellently hidden softail suspension with painted struts provides for an ergonomically outstanding riding position necessary for a very comfortable ride. The rear-mounted kickstand is simple to kick down. resists dragging for better cornering and tucks away behind the side-mounted license plate bracket nicely when not in use. The 2004 end-of-the-year optional 117 c. i. OHV 45 degree V-Twin made by S&S. has a bore and stroke of 4"x4. 25" and a compression ratio of 9. 6:1. Helping the engine breathe is an S&S Super G Carburetor with optional Big Dog's louvered air cleaner. The engine is supplied by a 4. 25 gallon fuel tank with a built in reserve and a 3 qt capacity oil tank. Power is fed to the 240mm rear tire via a chain primary and belt final through the Baker 6-speed transmission. With the power and acceleration that this bike provides. brakes are very important. Helping this 635 lb chopper stop are PM 4-Piston Calipers in the front and in the front and in the back with stainless steel braided cables. It comes with matching "Mad Clown" wheels. brake rotors. and pulleys. The aftermarket custom paint is truly one of a kind. You will never find another painted like it. It is the standard gloss black with House of Kolor Kameleon (Silver to Green) ghost flames on the front and rear fenders as well as the gas tank. Included is an official Big Dog Motorcycle cover with logo as well as the original owner's manual which is inperfect condition. I also have the Big Dog pillion suction cup 2nd rider seat with installed matching passenger footpegs for those days where you would like to bring along a passenger. As if the chopper itself wasn't comfortable enough. it also includes the Big Dog 2. 5" forward control extenders. With a seat height of 25". a ground clearance of 4. 75". a wheel base of 78. 25". and an overall total length of 103". plenty of chrome and a truly killer one-of-a-kind paint job. you will truly NOT be disappointed. I purchased this bike new in 2004. I am selling due to a few reasons. The busy life in the military doesn't allow me to ride it as much as I would like to. The low miles is a testament to multiple deployments to Korea and Iraq which resulted in the bike being garaged for way too long. In addition to that. I'm looking for something that my whole family can enjoy. Having two children under 5 years old doesn't facilitate as much family time as I would like.
