Genuine BIMOTA of ITALY OEM CARBON FIBER FRONT FENDER ASSEMBLY
"NEW OTHER " = take off part : I bought this from a fellow in Europe who set up his brand new 2008 BIMOTA Tesi 3D LE model to actually race it .
So in making his bike into a track bike race, e removed this stock OEM BIMOTA front fender assembly to run a custom made item
I bought this a while ago just as a spare . I have since bought a brand new front fender for my inventory so Im selling this one,
please see the picture(s) as it is of the listed part.
This is a real all carbon fiber BIMOTA OEM FRONT FENDER FOR THE MODERN TESI 3D / and or TESI 3D LE models
It is front a new / near new bike and it is gently used.
The fender is already painted of course . There are a few minor scratches in the clear coat of the fender ( I got it this way ). My guess is that this was from being handled and moved about over time and possibly from storage ( prior to my getting the item ) .
Other than these minor cosmetic issues the fender is completely intact with no signs of damage or abuse to the carbon fiber or its integrity
It is being sold as a used ite, owever I dont think that it was on the bike very long. For a replacement or a spare it works quite well.
Of course if you wanted it to be returned to brand new condition it may need to be buffed out some and or wet sanded and re clear coated ....or touched up in a few areas ( any good body shop can get this to mint without to much problems )
This of course fits the modern BIMOTA TESI 3D / 3DLE models = it may fit other bikes but you would need to research this
IMPORTANT NOTE : the front fenders on the Tesi 3D models has been known to get damaged both from flexing over time ( the mounts that secure the fender to the bike are very thin and not very firm or sturdy ) and by bottoming out the front suspension ( by not having the front suspension set up correctly and or from hitting a big bump or landing from a wheelie )......Ive known of front fender damage on a few bikes ( one during a UK magazines test of the bik, nd a few others by owners running the front end to soft ) ......
So I suggest owners that ride their Tesi 3D to get a spare front fender ( just in case )
