bmw r80/7 r100/7 rt 1989 naked mono lever

 Hi and welcome to this auction for my naked r80rt. I bought this bike last year with the intention of striping it down for spares for my beloved Sofie of which I have owned for nigh on twenty years but after taking all the heavy weight garb off I soon realized that she was too good to strip for spares. since my ownership I have removed the fairing. replaced the starter motor brushes. rewired the now naked bike. fitted British handle bar rubbers. front BMW indicators. trip and clean out the front forks. replaced the seat. powder coated the rear sub frame. grab handle. pannier rails and front crash bars. repaired the broken seat fairing and now have a good replacement that can go with the bike. complete top end overhaul including all seals and gaskets. I will say that the honing marks are perfectly visible throughout the bores which denotes very little if any bore wear. set the carbs up. replaced all the spark plugs. I say all cos this bike has TWIN spark heads on dyna coils with a 1000cc conversion fitted. replaced all the oils and fluids throughout including sump off and flushing the motor. replaced the front discs with some I already had that are well within tolerance. strip and fit the exhaust proper. stainless front pipes fitted. replace the valve covers. fit new mirrors. re bush the side stand. fit new headlamp brkts. new number plate and rider footrest rubbers. this machine rides spot on and is more potent than the stock 80 due to the twin spark heads and 1000cc conversion. she seems better on fuel economy as well. it is not immaculate with obvious sings of use but she is clean. there is fairing damage to the tank. please see photos. the clutch. gears. brakes and lights are as they should be. perfect. the bevel box is the standard 37/11 I do have a 33/11 which I will sell separately. the mileage will go up a bit cos on dry days I do like to take her out. lot of fun. this is a honest machine with lots of guttso and a pleasure to ride. I am selling do to down sizing and have other bikes requiring much funding. the V5c is in my name. all questions answered. please feel free to come and have a look yourself.
