BMW R1200 RT SE- Radio/CD - Heated Seats/Grips - ESA - Cruise - Autocom - Alarm

Welcome to my auction for my much loved RT

She has only covered 26723 miles and I have owned her for just over a year. I am only selling due to down grading to a smaller bike as I will be no longer touring. I looked long and hard to find this bike as I wanted all the toys which this bike has. I will not bore you with the standard features but the extras include BMW radio/single CD player. Electronic Suspension Adjustment (this does not raise or lower the bike but adjusts the damping for the riding characteristics) Complete luggage - panniers. tank bag and with the largest top box (ignition key fits all luggage). Also included is the Autocom system which is professionally wired to the radio to allow the speakers to be switched to your ear pieces. The Autocom does not come with the drop leads or helmet ear pieces/mics. The bike also benefits from the BMW alarm/immobiliser with 2 fobs. I fitted handlebar risers which bring the handgrips closer for a more relaxed riding position.

The bike has 2 ignition keys and also the service key. All the documents are present for the bike and the V5 in my name. No insurance claims and no outstanding finance (please do your own checks for piece of mind)

The support bar was fitted by me to house the satnav. iphone and usb/12v charging port. nbsp;i used original mounting screws so can be removed without evidence of fitting. The Iphone 4 holder and lead are included and allows video recording whist riding and charges on the move! The Garmin Zumo Satnav is not included but the mount is.   

The bike has also been registered with DATATAG but you will need to re register with your details if needed 

The bike has also been fitted with the protective clear film to protect the paintwork although one of the panniers has not got this fitted.

Not Included

The following items are not included with the bike but can be bought separately. I will not remove these until the bike is sold to give the new owner the opportunity to buy.

Comfort seat - The bike will come with the standard seat but the comfort seat is made by BMW specifically for the RT which is lower for smaller riders and also more comfortable and is still heated for both rider and passenger. It also in my opinion improves the look of the bike being a one piece seat.

General

The bike is in really good condition let down by the odd bit of corrosion to the peg bar but not unsightly and can be easily removed coated or replaced. there is also the odd scratch here and there but nothing to cause concern (the bike is nearly 10 years old). The rear tyre will need replacing very soon. The back light lense is cracked but sealed. It had a recall by BMW to have the fuel pump checked which I have had done. The bike is as honest as me and you can check my feedback to ascertain my credibility.

Delivery

Although If you live to far away i can not personally deliver the bike I will be happy to assist any courier to get the bike safely to its new home. I live in Durham DH7 postcode
