BMW ROCKSTER R1150R RARE CULT CLASSIC IN SHOWROOM CONDITION

Excellent pampered senior-owned low miles Rockster in 98%  showroom condition. Maintenance and upgrades by BMW dealer and retired Ferrari tech original owner. Bike comes priced with OEM CAT and exhaust.  Upgraded BMW spec cam chain tensioner is installed! This is an important upgrade rarely done by owners of these bikes! The original tensioner allows the cam chain to beat on the guide eventually breaking the guide and turning the engine into an expensive paper weight.  At extra cost is the Leo Vince (Remus) carbon fiber muffler and Wunderlich stainless collector box as-new with less than 1200 miles for an additional $600 (new cost was $936. 42). Unlike the aftermarket "Y" pipe the very rare Wunderlich "Professional Collector Box" in combination with the muffler improves performance. reduces weight by 23 pounds and virtually eliminates backfires. overheating and burnt exhaust valves caused by relatively poor scavenging "Y" pipe.  The only non-stock items on the bike are LED front turn signals. a front fender extender and Wunderlich rear inner splash guard. There were less than 5. 00 Orange. Lime Green. or Silver trim versions made for worldwide distribution. Silver trim versions were not imported to the US. By the numbers an estimated 500 to 700 Orange trim and Lime Green trim bikes were imported and sold into the US.  There are very few really good Rocksters available. If you are interested in an investment grade Rockster at a reasonable price now would be the time as this aggressive cult classic motorcycle is increasing in values that would yield a decent return on investment if properly cared for.
