2008 BMW R1200GS R 1200 GS Dual Sport Adventure Bike 5300 miles Excellent extra

Up for sale is a beautiful 2008 BMW R1200GS with only 5305 miles! As you are likely aware it is difficult to find these bikes with less than 20 - 30. 00 miles on them as their owners tend to ride them alot! This bike was purchased at Mountain View BMW and not ridden a lot over its lifetime. This bike is the Swiss army knife of the motorcycle industry. You can tour. go off-road. dual sport. camp. etc from this bike. But you know that! The bike has never seen any serious dirt in its life. I just got back from a 10 day. 1. 00 mile ride in Baja but everyone else didn’t like the dirt so we stuck to the streets. The most dirt it has seen was the driveways to the hotels! The balance of the miles were mostly commuting to work. The bike only had about 3. 00 miles on it before that ride! Extras include: · ABS with onboard computer · The expensive BMW expandable Vario side cases. · The expensive BMW expandable Vario top case with passenger back rests · a BMW OEM GS tank bag. · Wider footpegs. · BMW cylinder head protectors. · You can have your choice of the regular seat shown on the bike or a “low seat” which lowers the sitting position if you are vertically challenged. Two normal keys. a plastic key and the original owners manual are included. No stories. The bike is in excellent condition and starts. shifts and stops as it should. It does not even seem to use any oil which I am told is sometimes the case with these BMWs. There are only one or two scratches on the panniers from driveway tipovers – see pics.
