Large pictures are below the text. The bike will be as I got it or washed by myself before the pictures. but has had no other detail cleaning.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

A REALLY nice example! Fully loaded. a fantastic dealer history and beautifully done repair and restoration of the usual corroded or painted areas of the bike.

A lot of work to get this done as all the parts have been removed and painted properly. looks great and better than a lot of 20 k bikes I have had.

Rides very well. and is a credit to it's last owners.

It is a very early delivery bike so has been loaded by BMW with every available extra at the time.

ABS. heated grips. heated seat. electronic suspension adjustment. cruise control. radio/cd player. BMW large top case. colour coded panniers and top case. remus legal exsaust. foam grips. cylinder head protectors. wind deflector kit. Aeroflow larger wind shield. fender extender. etc etc.

SERVICE HISTORY:

FULL dealer history almost to date. all done on mileage or annual. 11 stamps in the book. last service at 72500 at a dealer. It has had an owner service since but would be due a dealer visit now if you wanted. I would probably call it a day now and do it yourself or use a local specialist.

FAULTS AND ISSUES:

Well for the age and miles. very little. It obviously still has some wear and tear. and some corrosion on the engine and fasteners. Please see the pictures.

Really there is not much to note for a bike like this. as all of the usual problem areas have been addressed. very nicely too.

TEST RIDE DETAILS:

Rides really well!!! Nothing out of the ordinary for the age and miles. and all the extras are working fine. I don't like the grip covers but that's me.

All feels as it should for the type and age. and it's a nice overall feel to the bike.  

CONCLUSIONS:

A lovely example! A REAL credit to it's last owners who have maintained the bike regardless of cost. and have done all the tricky and time consuming cosmetic work too!

Really is ready to use and enjoy.

I am located in the south west. close to the A303. the M3 and about an hour from Bath. Bristol and Southampton. Two hours' drive/90 miles from London.

I am also convenient for a mainline railway station with direct services from London Waterloo and I would be happy to collect you from the local railway station if you wish to travel here by train and then ride the bike home.

I am happy to discuss delivery (for a fee) if this helps. as I have a pick up truck. or to advise on collection services.

Delivery in the UK is ?130 England or Wales. a bit more to Scotland.

I am selling this bike as a TRADER and I do this as my full-time occupation. with 30+ years experience in the trade.

The bike IS NOT registered to me but will be on a dealer S. O. R. N. Most of my stock is purchased directly from official dealers. so the bikes have been checked by the dealer as well as myself. I will always ride and check the machines myself before sale. and they are fully able to be ridden home. unless otherwise noted in the ad. It may not have any tax . but there is a Post Office a few minutes from the house if you need/want to tax it. I have a very fine professional mechanic friend who does work for me. so anything done on the bikes is done by an expert.
