BMW K100 RS

Hi. This is my much loved BMW K100 RS as you can see from the Pictures I have recently toured Ireland and Wales on this bike. (without any issues at all)

Good points.

Runs perfectly. Good engine and gearbox. starts easily. fast and very stable on the road. Low mileage for these bikes. Stored in a garage. everything works exactly as it should. full luggage panniers and top box. good tyres. good examples of these bikes are up for sale from dealers for over ?2000. (don't believe me have a look) very comfortable. and will easily take 2. All splines greased and new brake pads and oil change. eye catching running lights have been installed. (easy to disconnect if not to your style) MOT till August 27th 2015. one advisory was a thin rear brake disc. which has now been changed.

Uses no oil. no leaks.

Not so Good bits

The paint could be better in a couple of places. (it has never bothered me). one wheel needs painting as one is white and one is black. (they are a pair its just I painted one) 99% of the time there are no issues with the instrument display. however occasionally the choke light comes on. (then goes off again) there must be a lose connection somewhere. but again has no effect on the running of the bike. Very rare but saying so as being completely honest.

I am selling as I have another BMW K bike (my 4th) and I cant justify to the Mrs having 2!.   These bikes are great and easily run 250000 miles if serviced correctly. so there is easily another 30 years in this bike.   Easy to work on. and plenty of second hand parts available on ebay if required.

Priced very fairly to sell. but just as happy to keep it so I am not prepared to accept cheeky offers.

I hope the new owner has as much fun with this bike as I have had. It is an awesome machine!
