BMW R 115O RT c/w Colour Coded Luggage, FSH, 53 Plate, 32K Miles, ABS & Extras

For Sale is my BMW R 1150 RT which is possibly one of the cleanest & best spec'd models up for sale at the moment. Reason for the sale is simply to reduce the number of bikes in the garage. I've owned this bike since July 2010 (4 previous owners) and comes with full BMW Dealer service history since new. with Allan Jefferies in Shipley looking after the bike under my ownership. It is the later twin spark version of the boxer engine and has heated grips. front & rear linked ABS brakes (which really are very good!). twin fog lights. adjustable windshield height/angle. twin auxiliary sockets etc. The BMW luggage is colour matched to the fairings which looks much better than the standard black plastic you see on most 1150's. and all operates off the ignition key. The panniers also come with BMW soft luggage bags. and the extendable tank bag all make this a great touring bike. An aftermarket ZTechnik Vstream windshield has been fitted which is more effective & comfortable riding two up than the standard screen. but the original will come with the bike as well. A ZTechnik mount for a sat nav or similar is included but has never been used. Sadly the bike hasn't been used enough over the past year and despite swapping the charger between bikes the battery was in a poor condition so I've replaced with a new one (genuine gel type from Motorworks). In the interest of the sale I've also changed the oil. oil filter. air filter & spark plugs this week. The bike performs absolutely brilliantly. starts fine from cold and runs great. MOT expires at the end of September. This is a legitimate sale. V5 present etc - serious buyers only please! The bike is available to view in South Cumbria. approx. 40 mins from J36 M6.
