Description

********* MUST SELL BY 10th MARCH OR WILL BE TAKING DEALER'S PART EX OFFER INSTEAD *************For Sale - my K1600GT Sport - fully loaded with all options / packs. please don't confuse this with other machines on offer with a lot less spec.  If you want one like this the closest I've seen is another GT Sport  with a dealer for just under ?17k or you could buy a new GT SE (without the Sport paint/graphics/wheels/screen) for over ?20k (check for yourself online = cost of a GTSE + Audio + Comfort Pack + Nav V unit).  So this machine is definitely a bargain. 1 owner machine purchased new by myself and covered just 5419 miles.  Being the Sport model it's in Sakhir Orange and Black Metallic (definitely a better colour option than anything else offered over last couple of years) and has the lower sport screen (still electrically adjustable) and the sport design seat. New tyres fitted (Pirelli Angel GT) and covered about 300 miles in crap weather so not fully scrubbed in. Balance of the manufacturers 2 year warranty is transferable to new owner so there really is no reason to buy from a dealer as he wouldn't offer you better on a 9 month old bike. Onto the spec; I'm sure you know all of these come with ABS and most with ESA but this has pretty much every option:It has Xenon adaptive lighting - very bright AND it moves to follow the corner - it really works and is great (not all GTs have this option fitted)Many bikes have audio prep and satnav prep - this one actually has the audio system fitted and the latest BMW (Garmin) Navigator V system too ( the Nav V alone would cost you about ?500). Nav V is a great system with configurable display and alerts of speed limits and cameras. It has heated grips but also the heated seats! They're great if you find yourself unexpectedly riding through freezing temperatures. It has traction control as well as the ABS and the response from both (plus the engine response) are altered by the driving mode that is selected and that's where another great feature on this bike comes into play because it has all 3 modes Rain / Road / Dynamic - some bikes don't have the Dynamic mode and trust me it is well worth having if you're at all used to bikes like the K1200/1300S or GT.  The bike also has Central Locking - useful just to make sure you've locked the panniers and the storage pockets in the fairing. Cruise control - useful for avoiding speeding fines. Also factory alarm/immobiliser. rotary controller for running though all the menu /display options. electrically adjustable screen. bluetooth & speaker options for the stereo. colour matched panniers. and so forth and so on. Awesome machine - fast smooth and capable. Only flaws I can find are a mysterious scratch on the centre tank panel (happened in my garage but nobody in the family is owning up. )  and some minor scuffing to left hand silencer shield from my boot touching it when using centre stand. Only selling at a bargain price as I'm picking up a Harley in April. Please no silly offers based on machines with wildly lower specs and please no part-ex offers as I have my next bike lined up already. I will require a ?250 paypal deposit to hold the bike once sale is agreed. and funds must be cleared with my bank before the bike is released. Update: bike needs to go in next couple of weeks otherwise is being part exchanged and will probably end up back in the BMW dealer network where you can expect to pay a lot more for it. Update: buyer changed their mind before seeing the bike so it is available again. Further update:  relisted as buyer changed their mind before paying a deposit or seeing the bike - thanks!Final update and final reduction before I take the deal offered by the bike dealers. and to answer some common questions: No I won't sell the Nav V separately. it goes with the bike if you want it. otherwise it's going to my daughter for use in her car (I really like the features on this Garmin unit)To avoid haggling and silly offers - I'll accept ?13. 50 for the bike with the Nav V unit or ?13. 00 without.  Yes it really would cost you a smidge over ?20k for a new one (GT SE to this spec I don't think they do the Sport anymore) - yes the 'base' model is cheaper but this isn't a base model and has a shedload of extras (which BMW charge a pretty penny for)No I don't want anything in part-ex. I'm merely looking to turn the cash (plus more cash) into a new Harley - so unless you have a 2015 CVO Street Glide you want to trade I'm not interested - sorry. Yes I really do need to see the funds cleared before you ride the bike away - it's not that I don't trust you. it's just that I don't know you and banks do make mistakes.  You are welcome to come and see the bike - please contact me through ebayI have part-ex offer from the dealer and I've decided to take that if this bike doesn't sell by 10th March. as I'd rather take the hit and avoid the aggravation. So be quick if you're interested. this is a genuine bike and genuine sale and a genuine bargain - there haven't exactly been that many 6 cylinder motorcycles produced and the BMW is the best of the bunch and this is the best model and spec for a K16GT.
