2006 BMW R 1200 GS 04 NON RUNNER / SPARES OR REPAIR

Welcome to my auction. I specialise in the location and disposal of finance repossessed vehicles which are not accident damaged or had any insurance claims against them unless specifically listed as such. Most of these cars are collected by me as non-runners. some with minor and some with major mechanical faults. I will try to identify these faults and describe them as best I can in the listings. All cars are clear of finance at the time of auction and a HPI clearance certificate is available with every car. Most of the cars come with full documentation and any relevant documents I have will be itemised in the listing. Documents that arrive after the sale ends will be forwarded to the buyers regardless of time-scale.

These vehicles are not classed as salvage nor had insurance claims against them.  All cars are offered without reserve and will sell to the highest bidder.

All vehicles that run at the time of appraisal are sold as per our usual conditions. they are not available for road test before or after purchase and are to be valued as non-runners when bidding.

You are bidding for a 2006 BMW R 1200 GS 04 NON RUNNER / SPARES OR REPAIR with a speedo reading of approximately 45. 27 miles.  This bike was collected by us as runner and ridden over 150 miles to our yard earlier last year at this time the bike was taxed and MOT’D and the bike had no noticeable problems. Having now sat in our yard for a period of time it is now offered for auction and may require some work in order to prepare it for road use. The battery is flat and may or may not require replacing and the brakes have light rusting on the disks and feel like callipers may be slightly sticking. The bike starts first time hot or cold and runs up to temperature. The clutch and gearbox operation all feel as they should and we would advise a battery. a good service and attention to the braking system is required prior to use. Further investigation is required to determine any faults and parts may need repairing / replacing to make good.

The bike is in good all round useable condition but not mint and would require some minor cosmetic attention to detail in areas such as those that have been pictured or could be acceptable in its current condition.

We are in possession of the V5 registration document and a current MOT certificate expiring 15th June 2015.  

We are also in possession of the service history with 6 stamps at 7K. 6K. 12K. 17K. 24K. 31K and 33K.

The tyres appear to be in good road legal condition with plenty of tread as pictured.

Date of first registration was 10th November 2006.

Collections - We operate from an un-staffed storage facility and collection is strictly by prior arrangement with us. Collections are not possible on Sundays unless it is at our convenience. We also need a phone call 1 hour prior to your arrival. you can message us with your contact number and preferred collection time on eBay messages or contact us on our contact number which you will find on your eBay invoice for the purchased item. If we do not answer send us a text with your name and the vehicle you are calling with regards to.

This car is sold spares/repair as a non-runner and will not be withdrawn from the auction. There is also no buy it now price and the car will be sold at auction to the highest bidder. Please note that the problems stated in the listing are our initial findings only and are meant as a guide for your assistance.  Dashboard warning light may or may not be illuminated due to standing with flat battery's or other reasons.  All vehicles are sold as non-runners and should be bid on as such.
