For sale is a all original 1966 BMW R60/2 motorcycle with 26. 00 original miles. This is a triple numbers matching bike (Frame. Motor. VIN plate). This bike has always been in Southern California and has its original black plate which was issued to the bike back in 1966. I am the second owner of the vehicle. Recent work includes: New Bridgestone tires and tubes. final drive re-sealed. carburetors rebuilt. new drive shaft boot. rebuilt original VDO speedometer. new Denfeld solo seat. engine re-sealed. heads and piston tops de-carbonized (original pistons # 71/95 are perfect). oil pan cleaned with new gasket and magnet installed. new coil (German). new condenser. new fuel petcock. new plugs. caps. battery. plug wire. new speedo cable. clutch cable. front brake cable. air cleaner. All work was performed by Black Kat Motorworks of Los Angeles. Due to the low mileage this bike performs amazing. Additionally. the original factory red gas tank lining is perfect. and the rear shock adjuster tabs are in place (lots of classic BMW's had these cut off for hard saddle bags). The bike features original Hella bar end blinkers. Albert stainless steel headlight mirrors. and a brand new Denfeld solo seat. This bike has never been down and runs like a champ. It always starts on the first kick and burns no oil. All fluids have been changed and the bike has received a full tune up (valves adjusted. heads torqued. timing set. points adjusted). The original horn works and the electrical system works perfectly. The transmission shifts smoothly. the clutch is great. and the shocks are healthy. The original tool box and steering head locks work perfectly. and come with a spare key. This bike is ready to ride anywhere.
