This is a meticulously maintained BMW K1200LT. I am the second owner of this beautiful bike. I purchased this bike after returning from a tour in Africa thinking I would drive it from Silver Spring. MD to Fort Detrick. MD but then was stationed here in Silver Spring. After using it for a year (2013) the 8 mile (in traffic) commute was just too short for a touring bike. so I purchased a K1200GT. After having both bikes now for about 2 years. I am simply not riding. A couple close calls here in the DC area have lead me to spend more time worrying about other drivers than enjoying the ride.
