This is a very well equipped R1200GS in very good condition. I do not consider it "farkeled" but well accessorized for functional improvements which include: 1) Ohlins shocks front and rear. 2) MicaTech luggage. They are very robust. hold a great deal. and load from the side but the stuff does not fall out as with normal side loading bags. With the luggage removed the mounting system is hardly noticeable. 3) HID headlights in both Low and High beams. Both more vision for you and visibility of you for everyone else. They work great. 4) ThrottleMeister throttle lock. 5) MachineArt case protectors. The bike has fallen twice to the right side and once to the left - all three times when stationary. No damage to bike or cases except for a very minor mark on the luggage which I'll show you. 6) Mudslinger rear tire hugger keeps rear shock clean. It's not actually the "Mudslinger" brand. but that's the easiest way to describe it. 7) Rox Risers allow up/down and fore/aft adjustment of handlebars. A big comfort improvement on long rides. 8) AeroFlow tall windshield (clear upper and smoked lower). No bugs on face shield and you stay drier in the rain. 9) Russell Day Long leather saddle. I've had others and this is the BEST. The "Day Long" phrase is appropriate. It is very comfortable but does add to "stand-over" height requirement due to the "wings". 10) Also included is a large Pelican Case (22" x 17" x 12") which easily clips on in place of the rear seat. It's great for hauling a lot of stuff to a rally say. nbsp;and then removing it while pursuing a more sporting ride. Totally rain proof and virtually indestructible. It also has a handle and wheels which are removed for use on the BMW but which can be re-installed in order to use it as harsh duty luggage. This bike has been very good to me and I've enjoyed it immensely. My only reason for selling is due to my decreasing ability with age (71). When trying to back it up on a rough gravel road for instance. I sometimes feel I'm going to drop it if my foot slips. I plan to get a smaller. lighter bike with a lower stand-over height - maybe a DR650 or similar. If you are interested in the type of sport touring this bike excels at. and if you're tall enough - (6'+?). nbsp;then this is a real good deal. Just look up the prices for Ohlins Shocks (BM 436 rear. and BM 437 front). a large Pelican Case with its special adapter plate. a Russell DayLong seat. the AeroFlow windshield. the RoxRisers. etc. It all adds up to more money than I want to think about. but it also adds immensely to function with comfort. This is a non-ABS bike and I had a hard time finding it when I bought it new from Gateway BMW in St. Louis. Please look at my feedback (pages 2&4) from my two previous BMW sales on eBay. You will be happy with this bike as were those two gentlemen who did fly & ride purchases from me. And as I did for them. I will gladly do a fly and ride for you using Cincinnati. Dayton. Lexington. or Indianapolis airports. It is a joy to ride. . nbsp;
