2001 Anniversary Model R1100R Low Miles, Great Condition, Well Maintained

Up for bid is a stellar example of a 2001 R1100RA. This is an anniversary model with pinstriped paint. laced rims and chrome head covers. This machine has always been garage kept and never laid down. All service has been performed at Moon Motorsports in Monticello. MN. which is a BMW dealership. This bike has been impeccably maintained by an avid enthusiast. The following features have been added:-Remus Exhaust. great low rumble as well as an 9lb weight drop-Wudo "S" style fairing. the fairing is from Germany and it gives the bike that great "S" model look. Completely removable-Marker lights kit to swap orange marker lenses with white ones. thus using an orange bulb. -A few of the grey colored plastic body components were painted black for a stealthier look by a professional body shop. that work was done 11 years ago and still flawless. Here are the pieces painted black: *Marker Light housings *Headlight Brackets *Cowling pieces around oil coolers-The rear license plate holder was modified to raise the plate up. I took off the rear grab bar for a sleeker. cafe look but do still have in my possession. The bike also comes with a BMW Battery Tender and a set of soft sided Saddle Bags with Pillion Seat Bag and a Marsee Tank Bag. This is the second BMW R1100R I have owned. the first one was bought new and was a 1997. I bought this bike in September of 2003 from the BMW dealer in Grand Rapids. Michigan. I am selling because I am older and would like something more suited for touring such as an RT. This bike is listed locally and I have the right to sell it prior to my reserve being met on Ebay.
