1974 BMW R75/6 Motorcycle

Selling my low mileage 1974 BMW R75/6. I'm the third owner of this very clean and well maintained classic motorcycle. This /6 was an early production model and was sold with /5 cockpit controls for the starter horn high beams and turn signals. Which I think look cleaner than the bulky plastic controls BMW later used on /6 models. The bike is mostly original save for maintenance and safety upgrades.Upgrades include: Front suspension - rebuilt with Works Springs. Rear suspension replaced with Progressive shocks. (I have the original shocks).The bike was originally sold with medium height bars I replaced them with period correct European low bars. I replaced the font turn signals with the bar end Bosch which were a factory option on pre 70's BMW models. I left the original mounts on the forks and still have the the original aluminum front signals should you want to return the bike to period correct.I replaced the original non perforated front disk rotor with a modern perforated EBC rotor along with a set of fresh brake pads. The bike stops much better with the newer set-up. The motorcycle is complete with the original tool roll and the frame mounted tire-pump. The steering damper has been replaced with a BMW OEM model. The rear tire is new with only a thousand miles on it.The bike runs and handles great with plenty of power around town in the canyons or on the freeway.
