It's time to sell Giselle- my 2012 BMW R1200GSA to someone who can actually use her for what she was designed to do. I've spent the last few years upgrading and adding various parts to get her ready for my dream ride around the world. But with a wife and 2 small kids this bike just doesn't make sense for me anymore. Time to pass that dream to someone else. She currently has just over 39K miles which for a BMW is now just broken in.This bike is a unique edition Triple Black model which I've personalized with more blacked-out parts than normal. All those parts were powder-coated professionally in San Diego. I've also added some of the best upgrades that you can buy. There are literally thousands of dollars of extras here:- BMW GS Aluminum Panniers & Top Case with reflective decals. I actually had these panniers on a prior motorcycle that went down in a street accident. The right pannier shows a reminder of that incident but works perfectly. Brand new these babies cost nearly $2000 and they are worth it!- TouraTech bash plate headlight guards bar risers reservoir covers kick stand enlarger and Zega Pro baseplates for attaching all kinds of extras. TouraTech makes the best adventure accessories in the world. (www.touratech-usa.com)- PIAA 100X Riding Lights. These are incredibly bright and are connected to the high beams (separate switch to turn off if desired)(www.piaa.com)- Adventure Designs cylinder head protection bars(www.advdesigns.com)- Altrider oil cooler cover(www.altrider.com)- Laminar lip fairing extension(www.laminarlip.com)- Front fender extender and rear mud guard to keep the engine & suspension clean(www.machineartmoto.com)- Yoshimura Carbon Fiber Exhaust. This thing sounds amazing and is much lighter than the original. Has a removable baffle for adding few extra decibels if you want.(www.yoshimura-rd.com)- Eastern Beaver Fusebox. I installed this to add powered controls and manage added electrical equipment (heated clothing extra lights powered tank bag ring etc). It's a high-quality item with plenty of open ports for other extras you may want to add(www.easternbeaver.com)- SW Motech Powered Tankbag Ring: this is a mount for tank bags made by SW Motech and sold by Twisted Throttle that provide power into the bag to charge phones GPS etc. It also eliminates the need to use magnets or straps for a secure tank bag. Awesome stuff and professionally installed.(www.twistedthrottle.com)You should also note that the gas cap actually snapped off the mount that normally holds it to the tank. The good news is that it's far easier to fill the tank and it still seals perfectly. No need to replace it ever.- Wunderlich America Quick-adjust handle bar bolts. These allow the handle bars to be adjusted up for off-road riding without tools.(www.wunderlichamerica.com)- Throttlemeister cruise control bar ends custom mounted to vibranator internal dampers for reducing vibration(www.throttlemeister.com&www.vibranator.com)- Shinko 705 tires. Great value for on and off-road. The front has tons of tread and the rear will take a few more thousand miles. (www.shinkotireusa.com)- I've also mounted a few Ram Balls around the bike added a tank protector flashing brake lights and a powered USB port for keeping a phone or GPS charged. There are probably a few other items that I just can't think of right now that I've added over the years. All to make this one helluva bike.I have completed all of the services as required and most recently the 36K service at CalMoto in Livermore. The bike runs perfectly and has never really done any off-road riding. I've used it as my commuter and weekend warrior since the day I bought it and I'll be sad to see her go. My hope is that someone with the time and means will be able to take her to the places she was designed to explore. Please notice that I have 100% Positive Feedback. I've worked hard to maintain this rating so that you can bid with confidence! Please let me know if you have any questions and Happy Bidding!Lee
