BMW R69S motorcycle 1964 Matching Numbers bike

GREAT classic BMW R69S bike. Triple matching numbers and almost completely original except for grips and mufflers/silencers.New Magura grips.....and it sounds great with the current pipes.

Engine- I believe to be true miles and it does not appear to have ever been opened up. There are a few bits of rubber that could be replaced that serve as a testament of the bikes age. The rubberboot between the transmission and drive shaft is showing some cracks and has a pinhole leak...easy fix. Tires I think are the original animals...the look great but could stand to be replaced with some softer rubber.

Bike runs and shifts great but is stubborn starter.....it needs a solid tune up by a professional or someone with a good deal more knowledge than me. After 51 years I would say it is about time for a proper tune up.

Tank has RARE rack mount and it is perfect....

Repainted professionally some time ago (and striped) it has a few chips here and there on the frame mostly but tank and fenders are great looking.
