BEFORE putting a NEW FRONT FENDER ON THIS I received several offers of between $4500 and $6100 for this - really wish I had taken an offer now but c'est la vie! I had little idea what the market would be like for this just the knowledge that I'd invested over 10K on it over the past several years. REDUCING the starting price to UNDER 3K now so GO! BUY THIS AMAZING MACHINE AND ENJOY IT PLEASE SOMEONE! :)Always wanted one of these /2 conversion bikes and sought high and low for this guy about 7 years ago. Rode her a bit here on the mean streets of NYC but finally decided to give her up. Had sitting in storage for a couple of years but just brought out dusted off and had a great shop get her up and running again. Started her right up today and she sounded fantastic! Nice ride and idle. Ready to have some cosmetic work done (note the various rust dings - ADDED A FRONT FENDER! Didn't realize the listing still said there was a missing fender til just now. D'oh! ) Would be an incredible bike repainted or a great daily rider as is. Personally I would recommend simply touching up the paint in a few places and polishing the chorme. Yes there is a bit of rust but this bike runs so well it is well worth the investment. *** PLEASE NOTE! I do NOT know exact mileage as this bike is a custom machine. I will check odometer and post a reading when I can call the shop where the bike is currently being housed. *** Bike frame and tins: 1968 R60/2 Bike motor and controls: Early 1970's R75/5 Seat maker unknown. Leather is very soft and no cracks or damage - distressing intentional. Super comfy seat! Earles forks Has ignition and glove box keys! Rear folding luggage rack New fuel lines battery and much more - please see photos of invoice. Additional pages of invoice and more info just ask : ) Needs: MAY need Pushrod seal which is only leaking a little bit from time to time. Otherwise mechanically sound. Please see photos of invoice from all recent mechanical work done. I will gladly provide a stack of paperwork depicting all the extensive mechanical restoration that was done recently. Bike sounds fantastic and runs nice and smoothly now. This bike comes with old NY registration which is TRANSFERABLE and serves as CLEAN TITLE for the bike. Almost forgot: Wanna hear her purr? Took this video as I was trying to drain carbs so bike stops idling at the end of video intentionally. http://youtu.be/9U8Yj9XwObg Addl Accessories: Clown horn and tooled leather gun holster (great for housing your cell phone) :)
