1976 BMW R90S Silver Smoke

This is the final production year for this classic motorcycle that won the first AMA Superbike championship. As such it has all the updates BMW made to this model and is the most desirable to own and ride.I got the bike in 2006 from my father. He bought it used a few years before that.I've just replaced the pushrod tube seals. The head and valve cover gaskets were replaced and the pistons and heads decarboned. The pistons and cylinders looked in excellent shape. It comes with the original bags. The locks don’t work and one of the latches that keeps the bag closed does not work well. I have the original toolkit and holder as well as the original owner's manual. Upgrades:Ikon shocks Gold Valve Emulators and RaceTech springs in forks Steel brake linesMaster cylinder and both calipers rebuilt. It starts quicker than my fuel injected bikes. It handles like its on rails.
