1975 BMW R60/6 Motorcycle - Classic Fixer Upper For Hobbyist or Collector

Get your motorcycle restoration fix with this 1975 BMW R60/6!This is a mostlyrestored bike that is not currently in running condition.We got it as a hobby bike to fix up then ride but haven't found the time to do the work since we relocated to Austin Texas. We purchased it from a friend back in Huntsville Alabama who had the motorcycle professionally restored to riding condition rode it for a year then let it sit for a few years before selling to us. Our friend bought the bike from a college buddy in Auburn Alabama.Bike is located in Austin Texas.We'll ship it anywhere in the US but the buyer will need to pay for shipping or buyer can arrange to pick it up in Austin.Condition and Other Details:

• Previous owner had bike professionally restored to full riding condition (body work including paint work on frame body panels & tank; seals were replaced)
• He let it sit for a few years which is why it needed work when we bought it
• Great looking bike just needs some mechanical work to be ridable
• Shows some signs of wear and tear consistent with age
• Carburetors rebuilt in July 2014
• Leather on seat is partially ripped (or seam came undone) & can be seen in pictures on left rear of seat; should be easily repaired atupholsteryshop
• Needs a battery (but comes with unused battery tender)
• Fuel tank needs to be cleaned
• Clutch and brakes in usable condition
• Currently on 3rd owner with current clear title andnotarizedbill of sale from Alabama
• Odometer on bike indicates 27000 miles but we think this number is actually higher
• Title lists odometer reading as "Exempt" and it has not been ridden while we've owned it (since 2011)
