BMW MOTORCYCLE, MODEL R1200C, YEAR 2000

BMW Motorcycle 2000 Model R1200C Original Mileage 2079.

Recently complete service and maintenance new tires new battery fluids changed new brake lines and fluid Gas tank emptied and cleaned.

I bought the R1200C from Lyle Lovett BMW in Katy Texas (west of Houston). I put about 1400 miles on the bike over 4-5 years. The Beemer was sitting in my garage under cover and I sold to my best friend she put the remaining miles over the next couple years. An illness stopped her riding around 2011 and it sat undercover in her garage. I was in Houston all summer 2014 staying with her and I put the bike into the shop Fast Lane Cycles in Conroe Texas where the service was performed. Installed brake line and flushed front and rear brake systems new battery new front and rear Michelins full service including Diff and Oil change fuel drained and tank cleaned fuel system and fuel pump working fine. Texas State Inspection and the title and license plate is Texas.

In November 2014 I hired a transport company and shipped it to my home in Oil City Pennsylvania. Getting older reflexes slowing and I just don't feel comfortable on two wheels. My desire and mind don't match my current abilities. Discussed with my friend and we have agreed to go ahead and sell.

Has been garaged and covered all its time. The paint is like new. When I bought the bike I added the cylinder roll bars windshield saddlebags and the back seat. You can see from the pictures the original flip up back rest is the back rest for the new passenger seat. Everything else is 100% original stock.

With the transport to PA there was one issue the tip of the clutch lever was broken off. That can be seen in the pictures the clutch lever works fine but should be replaced. Other issue almost since new the ABS indicators on the dash flash. ABS computer/hydro unit/controller has not worked. Google has lots of discussion on this issue with this model BMW and the ABS system. Drives and brakes absolutely fine just acknowledging no ABS system.
