BMW R 90/6 1974 Vintage Beemer

You are bidding on my 1974 BMW R90/6,with largertouring tank and factory original fairing and gauges including the BMW original Krauser hard bags/luggage. Those who are familiar with these bikes will recognize 1974 as the last year with the kick start option. I have been a lifelong rider of Beemers as you can see from two additional photos (copper R75/6 and 1976 R90/6)at the end of photo series.

I purchased this one a little over a year ago and had a boatload of work done at an authorized BMW dealer; I can e-mail PDF files of all invoices totaling $2800.00 to qualified/truly interested bidders!!!! I acquired the bike expecting to have more time to ride and continue to improve this classic, ut after acquiring a second home in trout fishing country I am sadly neglecting it. The bike has approx37,000 originalmiles and is a strong runner with great compression. As the invoices will substantiate I had the tank interior re-coated, ut it has sincedeveloped a leak over the winter storage season. Additionally the bike needs a new starter relay ( located under tank) approximate price is between$20-60 dollars (pls. see catalog listings at end of photo sequence). I have an additional non BMW, intage Rickmanfairing that includes a complete headlamp assbly.that I will include in the auction, n original BMW backrest, bike coveras well as anoriginal /6 set oftools/tool roll.

BMW Dealer work orders/invoices will reflect 10,000 mile service/overhaul, ll new fluids, eadset and fork rebuild, ew battery,new center stand, ank re-line, ew petcocks, rake work, amp replacements, tc.
