FOR SALE A 1967 BMW R60/2. It is a very nice and all serviced up bike. I have notes of the service work that have been performed by the previous owner in 03/1993 and only 500 miles ago. See the last pic for extensive maintenance record.

"The BMW R 60/2 VIN 1812208 was manufactured on December 15th, 966 and delivered on December 16th, 966 to the BMW importer Butler & Smith in New York City. The bike was equipped with a bench seat."

Bike was sold originally in 1967 hence it was titled as 1967 and that was a common practice back in the days.

Matching frame, ngine, nbsp;tag and title numbers. It is a very honest bike, ne of the nicest riding and looking pre-1970 BMW bikes I have had in my collection. It is all original bike w/o any mods. This bike has been stored in various conditions in its life and it shows. It is quite clean machine, ot perfect but a great every day runner.

The motor has had a recent top end disassembled, nspected, ne helicoil professionally installed at the machine shop for the right side spark plug. New rings were installed, ew top end gaskets and seals, orqued back to factory specs. Valves and timing was set, arbs re-adjusted. Clutch and brakes work well, earbox goes through all 4 gears as it should. Lights, lso all work as intended. I disassembled the horn, leaned but did not get it to work, will try again but no promises. Bike may need new rear tire as I have noticed some weather cracking, ront tire is like new.

Starts easily as the cold start video shows, uns and rides excellent!

If the seller is an Illinois Dealer, he following charges apply: 1) $20 drive-away permit[unless transferring plates] and 2) AZ, A, L, I, N, L, A, I, C residents must include their state's sales tax with payment[unless shipping]. Residents of other states pay taxes and license/registrations fees in their home state, ealers exempt.

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, nd make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction.
