1973 BMW R60/5 Cafe Racer

VINTAGE, OASTER, OXER, AFE RACER....what more do you need!
This is a great bike in need of a new home...health conditions prevent me from riding any longer.I bought this bike on eBay in 2012 from the original owner in Utah. I put new tires on it and rode it just over a 1,000 miles before I had to park it last year.It is in good condition but needs some minor repairs as you might expect of a bike of the age...see below.
The GOODThe R60 engine hums...I rejetted the BING carbs after getting it out of the Rockies, ow it runs smooth as a sewing machine.Shaft drive, ood clutch and shiftingThe Cafe Racer bars, ipes and seat are all after market and give this bike a unique vintage look and nice ride.New tires in great conditionBattery in good condition, rickle charge and it fires right up regularly.Did I mention the toaster tank...very nice!
The BAD...I see these as all relatively minor but just haven't had time to work on them.Bike once had a front faring which required removing the front turn signals.Speedometer / tachometer needles have decayed, ut odometer still works.Very minor scratches (we'll call it patina)Rear brake light cover cracked (but works)Throttle grip could stand replacement.Chrome side panels long gone.
