Like all of our builds, he is a turn-key bike, ire her up, arm her up then get on her and go all she needs is her next care-taker! She is plenty quick with a ton of torque! Based on what we have been told, he previous owner titled her in 2011 with 40,000 miles (on the title), an her around for about a year or so and then she sat in the garage ever since. We estimate that she has between 40,000 and 50,000 miles; however, t is tough to tell as the odometer was not working ... the cylinders and pistons are in excellent condition - see pics on the website (we know a guy that has the same 1978 R100/7T with over 225,000 miles on the original motor and still runs beautifully as his daily commuter!). She now has an distinctive/aggressive/clean look and is definitely a head turner. We have a feeling many BMW purists will be scratching their heads; however, t did not make economic sense for us to restore her back to original condition so, e thought the scrambler theme would be a cool alternative. She is truly a nice ride and will put a big smile on the face of her next care-taker!Check out our shop and our perspective on custom rides/builds at www.barebonerides.com ... you can see more photos of this bike on the website. Our builds have been shipped throughout the US and to several countries around the world. Several of our customers have come back to us for multiple builds! We like to build simple/clean/solid/functional bikes that should be ridden they are not museum or show pieces; however, any of our bikes have taken trophies at local bike shows! We only run non-ethanol fuel in our bikes and we highly recommend to all of our friends/customers that they do the same, SPECIALLY for those bikes that are carbureted! We have gone over the bike thoroughly and she is ready to go normal maintenance will be required (as is the case for ALL machines, oth new and old). We ask that you contact us prior to bidding if you have less than 10 positive feedback scores or a questionable ebay rating. We really appreciate your time in checking out this bike and if this is not the one for you, s always, e wish you much luck on your search for that perfect ride or addition to your collection!
