1982 BMW

This is a low mileage 1982 R65 that has been lowered to a unladen seat height of 28 inches, o fit a small stature person. It has been outfitted with a full Sport fairing to allow long distance touring with a small light motorcycle. Fairing fitted comes from the larger sibling R100RS. It is a bolt on application, o modification to the R65. Bike starts easily and runs quietly, hifts, tops normally. Service Inspections are current as of April 2015. Taking this machine on a long ride, ne needs only to check fluid levels and tire pressure and begin the ride. Motorcycle comes with Soft luggage pictured and original speedo that became noisy and needle became erratic. Replaced with new instrument which has 4658 miles. Tires are good though not new. Everything works normally, o unusual mechanical sounds. Original owners health is curtailing future riding on motorcycles. Looking for a low (seat height 28 inches) that is easy to handle touring mount or local commute bike, hat is good on fuel and cheap to maintain, his could be the machine you are looking for.
