Description

This is a totally custom Cafe Racer based on a matching numbers BMW R75/6. I built this bike myself and recently completed it and have taken it on two long test rides to shake out any issues, nd I'm happy to report that there are no issues. Many new OEM parts were used in this build. Everything works as it should, xcept for the odometer; it had stopped working before this build, t was a known issue and it's an issue for all of these old Beemers (the 1/10th mile indicator slips on the shaft and is easily fixed with an adhesive, f this bothers you). The speedo works fine, s does the tach, ust the odometer isn't working. Anyway, hat's the ONLY known issue with this fantastic cafe racer. The engine, rans and rear drive is basically stock. The custom subframe is made of welded DOM steel tubing and welded to the main frame for rigidity. The seat was custom made for me by Sargent Cycle. The rear shocks are adjustable. The gas tank and fenders are painted with urethane single-stage catalyzed paint, o rattle can crap here. The fuel cap is a custom aluminum monza style cap that is vented and gasketed to the tank. All fluids have been recently changed and the front fork rebuilt. The rear fender is a steel BMW fender from a Slash 2 and rides with the swingarm. Sidestand is a heavy duty Flanders. The new Oddysey battery has been relocated to a secure location below the transmission so it's out of the way. It has fully functioning turn signals, eadlight with hi/low beam, orn, lectric starter, uropean headlight on/off switch, ear view mirrors, reat tires, reat brakes....everything you need to safely ride this steed! The engine fires right up and bike runs great, he 5-speed transmission shifts as smooth as any airhead. This is a ride-ready custom cafe racer that has been built with a lot of attention to detail in both the aesthetic and the performance aspects. Clear title. Bike does not leave me until payment has been made in full and verified by my bank.
Please call if you'd like to make an appointment to come see the bike. No tire kickers or curiosity seekers, nd no test rides unless you first hand me the full asking price in cash. Sorry, ut my time is valuable. If you are a serious buyer, eel free to call me, y phone number is (917) 952-1680. Thanks.
