2005 BMW K1200LT Great Touring Bike!

Very Good condition. complete maintenance history!

Custom model with alarm. central locking and approach lighting. Light yellow metallic(Gold). this color was only produced in 2005. 85K miles. average mileage in the BMW world. These bikes run over 200k miles with little issues.  Beautiful bike. not perfect cosmetically but is solid and runs great! I purchased from the original owner about five months ago. Me and the fianc?© rode it  back 1200 miles from Northern CA.   No issues what so ever! Averaged  about 47 mpg fully loaded up. Great ride! I have all records and receipts for maintenance that the owner had done since new.  He addressed all known K1200 issues including replacement of clutch/rear seal. final drive rebuild. new BMW shocks. new hydraulic center stand actuator and much more.  Many extras including Custom Bill Mayer heated seats. Cee Bailey windshield. GPS. nbsp; headlight modulator and more. I've replaced the front tire. rebuilt shift linkage and added floorboards the rear tire is good for another 5K or so. This is a great deal on a second generation K1200LT. Beginning in 2005 BMW changed the frame geometry for more stability. gave it 15 more horsepower and of course added the super-trick electric center stand! It's a touring bike that handles like a sports tourer. Only selling because the "boss" likes riding on the Triumph cruiser more. My loss is your gain. Hate to see it sit when someone could be enjoying it.

This is my second K1200LT. my first one was a 2002 model.   I'd advise buying maintenance history and not low miles on these models. These are complex bikes but very reliable. This bike won't disappoint! Any questions are welcomed.   I have both key fobs and all owners books along with a maintenance CD.
