BMW R100rt 1995

I have for sale a nice example of the very last "Airhead" BMWs ever built. This 1,000 cc version of the world famous boxer engine is a great rider that can be found all over the world. This means parts can also be found all over the world. This bike has been all over the country as the last owner was a distance guy. It has a brand new stainless exhaust on it and has recently been tuned up. The paint has a few stone chips from the road on the fairing and bags, ut is really nice. The fairing has rubbed the tank on the left side and worn the paint so the owner touched it up with an etching primer to prevent rust. It was then "shimmed" with a bit of foam pad as this all happened out on the road. it has been left there for the next owner to decide what to do with it. It is difficult to see unless you are looking for it. One bag has been scratched on the side when a child kicked it across the floor when it was off the bike. The hard bags have the original soft bags inside them which makes them really useful for traveling. The soft bags are in excellent condition. The tires are in great shape. No leaks in any of the oil spots, .e. engine, rans, ear end, orks and same goes for gas and brakes. The only thing that is not functioning is the heated grips. The heating element has been removed. Valve covers are not scraped on ground like most older BMWs. Wind shield is clear and fresh. Clutch was replaced a number of miles ago, am sorry I don't know exactly when. The brakes are like new. Charging system is perfect. No rust in gas tank. Seat is not ripped. There is a BMW trunk box that goes with the bike and a "Motocentric" motorcycle cover for it. It also comes with a battery tender and a variety of hookups for the bike including a factory accessory plug for the BMW factory plug in. This is one of the most honest BMWs I have had in years, nd I currently own four. I should say, did not wash bike before I took pictures because I like to know what bikes that I buy actually look like, ot spruced up pictures that dont tell the whole story, o bike actually looks better in person. There is a light in one gauge out, ut will be fixed by the time you buy the bike! All in all a very nice bike.
