BMW 2006 K1200S motorcycle Sport Touring, 167hp

This bike is fast and smooth. Not many bikes can run well over 150 mph and you can also ride for 9 hrs a day. The K bikes have great low end torque and you don't need to wrap it up into 10K to get into the power this bike has. This bike is overall in better condition than is expected for its age with the items listed below. This bike needs a good home. I have put maybe 250 miles on it in the last two summers. I would not hesitate to ride it across the country tomorrow.
The bike is due for a valve check and spark plugs. My Mechanic and I had a miscommunication on the last service and it got overlooked. The tires have about 1,000 miles left in them depending on how hard you ride. The lower fairing has a repair from where the previous owner was reported to have dropped it in the garage.
2nd gear is a weak point. It will skip under heavy acceleration. My mechanic told me to go easy on 2nd and continue to ride it. The oil had no metal shards or signs of anything other than normal wear at the last oil change. If you google this issue, ou will get all kinds of info. It seems to be a result of the power of this motor.

The hard BMW luggage seen in the photos will go with the bike for bids over 6500, therwise I'll take it off and sell it separately.
