Up for sale is a matching numbers 1966 BMW R60/2 in excellent condition. The VIN # is 629176. It took two years to restore this motorcycle. The color is Granada Red, correct, pecial order color for 1966.The motorcycle has 46,792 miles on it since new, nd just over 500 miles since the complete and thorough restoration. It starts on the first or second kick, nd after a brief warm up, uns like a dream.
The restoration was painstakingly done. The motorcycle was stripped down to the last nut and bolt, nd the engine rebuilt with all brand new parts including the slingers. Every bushing and bearing was replaced, nd polished stainless steel bolts and nuts were used where practical. The carbs were rebuilt using the newer style cab tops.Wheels (SS Spokes) and tires are like new. All incandescent lamps were replaced with bright LEDs for safety. The Headlight has been converted to Halogen. There’s actually far too much to list here. Suffice it to say, he motorcycle is in as new condition, r even better than new, s it was restored with modern materials (brake pads, lutch, ED lights, GM battery, etc.) and has an EZ Clutch installed for extremely easy clutch operation. If you need additional photos of any specific part of the motorcycle or restoration process, ust let me know and I’ll email them to you. This motorcycle is being sold as is, here is with no warranty, xpressed written or implied.I reserve the right not to sell to any bidder with 0 or negative feedback or to any bidder for any reason.
