2003 BMW R1150GS R 1150 GS Sport 66k mi with Jesse Luggage Panniers

Up for sale is my 2003 BMW R1150 GS. The motorcycle is in very good condition. This bike is referred to as a R1150GS "Sport". It was a special model of GS that came in yellow, eatured a black engine, he lower gears of a GS Adventure and did not have ABS or linked servo brakes. Tires are in decent shape and have some good life left on them. Bike runs very very well and rides very smooth. Heated grips work, ll lighting works as it should, tarts, ides, ccelerates, hifts and brakes exactly like it should. The only issues I have had with the bike (and they are minor but I'm telling you everything I know):1) the factory seating isstarting to weather slightly but no tears yet. The seat is still very comfortable and useable.2) it has the typical noisy starter but it works like a champ3) when riding below around 35F outside temp the speedo gear makes a whining sound and the speedo shows double your speed or better. If you stop or almost stop rolling and then start to move forward again, he problem goes away. On the other hand, on't ride when itsso cold and it won't be an issue I suppose. Others on forums have repackedwith grease and its gone.4) there is a dent and some scuffs on the left front of the fuel tank as shown in the picture along with some minor scuffs on the crash bars as typical on these5)The keyed locks on the Jesse luggage do not lock but the lids close tightly and operate well.
Comes with everything you see on the bike. Options/upgrades include heated grips, IAAlights, esse Luggage panniers, emus cat delete pipe, andlebar risers, ront fork stops and more. There are no known or suspected problems with the bike other than what I have nitpicked about above. Full service at 66,000 by the dealer. I have 3 other BMW's, ust bought a 1200 GSbecause I wanted and found a Rock Red GS and so now I am thinning the collection. I do try to ride atleast one of my bikes daily so the mileage may go up slightly. Allphotos were taken January 5, 016 and represents the bike exactly as it will be sold.
