1978 BMW R100S R100 S Airhead Twin Motorcycle Disc Brakes Luggage Air Head Bike

Hi I'm Evan from RaceTech Electric. This is my new personal Ebay account that I have started, nd I'm still building up positive feedback on this account. I just wanted to explain the low feedback level in case you were wondering. I have already sold multiple vehicles (motorcycles and cars) from this account to happy buyers, lease look at my feedback and account history.
For sale is an excellent 1978 BMW R100S airhead. This bike was just recently brought out of a ~10 year storage and everything was done to bring it back to daily driver status. Bike has original frame mounted BMW chain wheel lock and air pump, hich is very cool as they're usually lost! Has good Metzeler tires with good tread. Front brake calipers and front master cylinder completely rebuilt with all new rubber seals, ew pads, nd fresh fluid. Rear master cylinder and rear brake caliper all completely rebuilt with brand new rubber and OEM rebuild kits. Bike has stainless steel braided brake lines on the front and rear.
Engine has all fresh fluids (crankcase, ransmission, riveshaft, inal drive oil) & oil filter, nd air filter. All pushrod seals were replaced with new BMW rubber. Heads were disassembled, alves removed and lapped. Pistons and rings in excellent shape, hey were de-carboned and cleaned before reinstalling. Valve adjustment to factory specs. New spark plugs, oints, ondenser. Both Bing carbs completely rebuilt with all new rubber parts including diaphragm. New fuel line and fuel filters. New oil pan gasket installed. Full ignition tuneup with new points, ondenser, park plugs. Carbs were synced and tuned, ike runs excellent. Final drive splines lubed. Clutch is excellent. Motor was completely degreased and cleaned. New battery as well. All electrical & lights work. Has rare European model turn signal beeper speaker. Seat cover is in excellent shape. Brand new OEM BMW Fork Seals and fork oil. Has Boge shocks on rear. The springs are soft both front and rear for my weight (I'm about 230lbs).
All new paint (Honda red) just done, ith tons of bodywork prep. All bodywork was just pinstriped with dual width black tape stripes. Looks very nice. Clean CA title, urrently on Non-Op status.
Has an original set of Krauser hard luggage bags and mount installed. They work great, ust a little scratched up on the outside.
All gauges and dash lights work. The odometer does not work, t failed long ago from worn gears. I estimate the mileage on the bike to be about 100k. I have personally put over 500 miles on this bike, nd it is a nice rider and reliable.

You will not be disappointed with this bike, t's an excellent and reliable rider, ot to mention a great candidate for full restoration or even modification! I run my bike auctions starting from $0.99, ith no reserve. I expect the condition of my bikes to drive the bidding to a fair price for both of us. I require a $500 deposit to be paid by PayPal within 24 hours of winning the auction. I no longer accept full payment via ebay's PayPal link as the fees are too high. I will accept a personal PayPal transfer (sent as gift to friend/family), ossibly a bank transfer, ashiers check, ersonal check (all of these after talking with you on the phone, nd of course the bike cannot be released until money has cleared), nd of course cash. I require payment in full within 3 days of the auction closing, nless we discuss and agree otherwise. As long as payment is made, can store the bike for up to 1 week while the buyer arranges pickup or shipping. I am happy to ship the bike worldwide, ut this is at the buyers expense and arrangement. I will help with the shipping process by meeting the shipping company and helping load the bike.
